Hello my name is Dolly Pawton! Im a 8-9 year old petite Lab Mix (approximately 40 pounds).
My life has become so much better since becoming a Rescue Rover dog!! When I was pulled from a shelter here in Utah I was in rough shape. Because I had been used for breeding my entire life, I had developed a mammary gland growth that needed to be removed, I needed some work on my teeth and I needed a spay, but now that Ive had some time to recover, let me tell you, I am SO much happier and boy do I feel good!

Im looking for a family thats ready to help me have a life of my own. I love walks, cuddling with my humans, napping and I LOVE my bum scratched, in fact if you hit the right spot, my back legs will dance for you!
Im great with other dogs, but havent been tested with a cat yet. My foster mom can cat test me if needed. Ive also been great with humans, including kids.

Id prefer a home thats more on the calm side and dogs that are on the older side. I try very hard to keep up with the young pups, but it exhausts me. Id also do better in a home with no stairs or just a few. I can do stairs just fine, but stairs can really wear me out and cause me to move slow. Other than that, I still have plenty of energy for a dog in my golden years and if youll let me, Ill follow you around the house some. I like to be close to my humans.
Im house trained and crate trained, although my foster mom says I dont need to be in a crate because she trusts me in the house. Im a good dog thats just looking for love, not to chew up your shoes. :)
