Excellent quality and condition, original varnish. With French craftsmanship and a German label, this violin was made in 1900, and is built to the measurements of a Stradivarius. It projects with a clear, powerful tone both under the ear and out in the hall. It has an even sound across the strings, and loses no tone quality in higher registers. It has newly a replaced sound post and bridge, a recently planed fingerboard, and is currently outfitted with Peter Infeld (PI) G, D, and A strings, and a Pirastro Gold Label E String with fine tuner. It has a solid one-piece back of gorgeous flamed maple. Also, it currently has a custom chin rest that will be replaced with one of standard make at time of purchase. Various accessories can be included if necessary. Call or text if interested!
